Terms & Conditions - Shipping
Please note that shipping charges are not refundable unless an incorrect or faulty item has been supplied. If an item is returned due to change of mind, postage is non-refundable. If the customer chooses to exchange the item, please note that additional shipping charges will be payable. Any offer of free shipping only applies to the initial order, and postage will be payable on any items sent in exchange. Where an item qualified for free postage but is subsequently returned for refund due to change of mind, postage will be deducted from the refund amount. Where partial return of an order is requested, should the non-returned portion of the order fall below the qualifying amount, the cost of the postage will be deducted from the refund.
We use Australia Post for most orders, but may use a courier of our choosing depending on the size and address of the delivery.
Registered Post - usually takes between 1 and 7 days to arrive, depending on your location. This service provides proof of postage, online tracking and requires a signature on delivery.
Express Post - will usually take between 1 and 3 days to arrive depending on your location. This service provides express delivery and online tracking where available. Items sent by Express Post are usually delivered with your regular mail, and will be left in a suitable location.
Platinum Express - combines the speed of Express Post and the security of Registered Post.
Papillon Blue Bridal cannot be held responsible for packages that are incorrectly delivered, lost or stolen. Once items have been dispatched, responsibility for the items passes to the purchaser. Please consider using a work address as the delivery address if you are not at home during the day. If you have placed a high value order and would like to insure your delivery against loss or damage, please contact us for a quote.
Please note that although we do try and keep most items in stock in sufficient numbers (with the exception of special order items), at busy times this isn’t always possible and items can be sold before new stock has arrived. If you require an item urgently, please contact us PRIOR to placing an order to check availability.
Selecting Express Post or Platinum Express DOES NOT guarantee that the item is in stock.
If an item is out of stock, or if there is going to be a delay in the delivery of your order for any reason, we will notify you of that delay within 48 hours of you placing an order.
We try to have in-stock items dispatched within 2 business days of cleared payment being received. If you require an in-stock item to be dispatched on the same day, we can usually do this if an order is placed early in the day, but please check BEFORE you place your order, as it is not always possible. Please note that we are based in NSW, and we observe NSW public holidays.
Delivery of in-stock items usually takes between one and seven days depending on your location and the method of shipping selected.
Delivery of out of stock and special order items can take between four and six weeks. Orders may take longer than this if an item is out of stock with the manufacturer, or at busy times of the year.
Please try and make sure that there is plenty of time for delivery of your items before your wedding date. Remember that some items, such as hair accessories and shoes, may be required for dress fittings and hair trials.
At Papillon Blue Bridal we provide clear photographs and comprehensive descriptions including measurements, to assist you in making your selection. Please ensure that you read the product description, which can be found underneath the photographs.
However, if for any reason you change your mind, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit (this excludes earrings, jewellery sets containing earrings and dyed shoes or bags*).
The item must be returned within 14 days of receipt, unless otherwise instructed. We are unfortunately not able to accept any returns from an order once the wedding date has passed.
Returned items must be as new, unused and in the original packaging with no damage or signs of wear. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the safe return of items in the original or similar packaging.
Every item is checked and packaged carefully before dispatch. However, should you receive a damaged or faulty item please contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent.

*Unfortunately we are not able to accept earrings or sets containing earrings for refund or exchange under any circumstances due to health and hygiene reasons. Please make your selection carefully.
We are happy to accept returns on non-dyed shoes, providing the sole and the upper of the shoe are unmarked. Please try your shoes on a carpeted surface with clean feet, as we are unable to accept returns if the shoe is marked.
We cannot accept returns on dyed shoes or evening bags, as these are custom dyed to order. Please make your style, size and colour choices carefully. We would always recommend using the Try Before We Dye service to check that shoes fit if they are to be dyed.
